EVENT PROPOSAL - June 2025
As you may or may not know, I run a music label, studio & residency space called Noise Machine.
From June 7th to 11th one of the artists we represent, TAYLR (Annie da Silva (they/them)) comes to qathet! They are a non-binary queer femme who is brimming with talent. They are both a skilled photographer and a gifted musical artist. To support their journey to Noise Machine and the qathet region Annie is looking to secure some bookings.
As a goal of Noise Machine is to bring queer talent to the area, I seek support from the Pride Society in funding a couple opportunities for Annie’s visit to the area.
A paid portraiture session along side a [June event]. We would use a single set up spot where folks can have their image captured by Annie. We can discuss how the pictures are used, but it could be a nice little representation project for the area, even if only digital for our Pride Society. They are behind the Queer Joy Portrait Project out of Calgary that responded to a lack of representation in the city by shooting 100 queer portraits and putting them into a book funded by the city of Calgary. See more about this project here.
A paid performance at a [June event]TAYLR for their musical artistry. They are a compelling story teller who will give folks a performance they won’t forget. Their music can be found here.
Their social accounts can be found here:
They are ALSO available for some private photography sessions! Their photography is of constant quality and they can shoot for brands, parties, engagements, pregnancy/children, weddings and more! Read more below! Scroll down to see their photography PDF & pricing
